"One of the most important things we can teach our children is to help others, especially those who must deal with physical, mental and emotional special needs. We were blessed to raise two daughters, Anna and Karina, who we believe were able to embrace the concept of helping others and put it to good use. Karina most recently volunteered as a coach and intern for Girls on the Run (which empowered girls). Anna worked as a volunteer at Equine Dreams. Unfortunately, we lost Anna in a tragic accident in 2013. Losing our daughter did not put a stop to our desire to help Equine Dreams. While we often thought we would be able to give of our time at Equine Dreams, it’s become evident that we’d be best offering financial assistance. We’ve founded the Anna and Karina Danielson’s Helping Hands Scholarship/Fund to assist in pursuit of the Equine Dreams vision, mission and goals."
